Venture Partner

"I began my career as a fintech entrepreneur. Now, at Oak HC/FT, I love connecting with other entrepreneurs and founders who are driven to push the limits of what’s possible with their own fintech idea."

A Venture Partner since 2014, Anil focuses on growth equity and early-stage venture opportunities in financial services technology. A fintech entrepreneur for almost 20 years, he has raised more than $75 million in venture funding for two processing companies where, as CEO, he led successful exits to Google (2012) and TSYS (2004).

Anil has served as the Global Head of Business Development for Google Wallet, and founded and served as CEO of the world's largest conferences for fintech (Money20/20) and retail innovation (Shoptalk). Along with Oak HC/FT Venture Partner Jonathan Weiner, he founded HLTH, the leading healthcare innovation conference.

Anil received a law degree from the Boston University School of Law, which awarded him the Young Lawyers Chair in 2006, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College, from which he has received a Distinguished Alumnus Award.
