We are excited to share that Leah Scanlan is joining us as Partner, Talent where she will work closely with our portfolio companies on all their talent initiatives and provide instrumental support to our growing Executive in Residence program.
Leah comes from Khosla Ventures, where she advised portfolio companies on executive search strategy, leadership, and talent development as an Operating Partner. She has spent her career building high-performance executive management teams at companies like Uber, Square, and Dropbox, making her a perfect fit to help our companies build the right leadership teams at such a critical time in their growth.
“Creating the best possible team to serve our portfolio companies is at the heart of Oak HC/FT, and we understand that identifying, attracting, and retaining talent is a key part of building and scaling successful companies,” said Annie Lamont, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Oak HC/FT. “We are confident in Leah’s ability to recruit exceptional talent to key roles in the leading Healthcare and FinTech companies we back.”
“I was drawn to Oak HC/FT’s commitment to being a long-term partner to entrepreneurs as they build enduring, impactful businesses,” said Leah Scanlan. “I look forward to working with the entire team at Oak HC/FT to develop successful, hands-on partnerships with portfolio companies to accelerate their businesses through talent.”
Prior to Khosla Ventures, Leah was a partner at Daversa Partners, a leading executive search firm for high-growth technology companies, where she worked with the firm’s consumer internet, healthcare, and enterprise software practices. Leah also led and launched the firm’s CFO practice.
Leah’s appointment follows exciting additions to the Oak HC/FT team including Jenn Adams and Michael Vaughan, who joined our Executive in Residence program, as well as Allen Miller, a Principal in our San Francisco office and Karina Kossler who is based in our Greenwich office.
