Ravi Singh, Chief Financial Officer at Oak HC/FT, joined the firm in 2014 and oversees its financial management and reporting operations.
Previously, he was Controller at Galen Partners, a late-stage venture capital fund that focuses on healthcare investments, and a Senior Associate at BDO in its financial services group.
Ravi received a dual Bachelor’s degree from CUNY Queens College.
Like many seeking a new start, my parents immigrated to the US in the early 80s with limited resources and a newborn in hand. Raised in a household that emphasized hard work and hustle but with a sense of humility, I saw firsthand how this was the key to building lasting relationships and paving the way to success. With a desire to create opportunities, my father recognized the significance of investing early on. Though not every investment bore fruit, I did observe how he increased his odds of success by remaining consistent and applying lessons learned. These lessons of consistency, hustle, and humility have shaped my passion for investing and the person I am today.
The success of Oak HC/FT has been built on decades of experience identifying opportunities to modernize two pivotal sectors: healthcare and fintech. Despite the traditional inefficiencies, we have demonstrated time and again that the market is ripe for transformation.
