Mike Matteo (HC), a Venture Partner at Oak HC/FT, joined the firm in 2021 and focuses on growth equity and early-stage venture opportunities in Healthcare.
Mike joined Oak HC/FT with more than 30 years of Healthcare industry experience. Most recently, he was President at Grand Rounds Health, an integrated navigation and virtual care company. Before that, he spent 23 years at UnitedHealth Group, where he held numerous executive positions, including Chief Client Officer of OptumRx and Chief Executive Officer of UHC National Accounts and Public Sector. He also served as the first Chief Growth Officer of Optum. Mike began his career at The Travelers Insurance Company.
Mike received a Bachelor of Arts degree from College of the Holy Cross and completed an Executive Management Program in General Management from Columbia Business School.
